I had some inspirations from Illuxcon 2024 and wanted to try layering paint with my pen and ink, rather than the pencil I would normally work with. This whimsical guy stepped out.

My "Big Three" for Shewstone Publishing's Magonomia game system, which is based on Elizabethan English history and folklore.

Shewstone hasn't just given me a chance to work on larger (for me) paintings... I have also enjoyed getting back to the kind of smaller ink and wash drawings I used to do a lot of. I had fun layering black and white ink pen with ink wash and white paint for the Iceberg illustration.

2017 Illustrators Master Class project. Assignment was a Magic card, "Macabre Intent". This is one of very few fully digital paintings for me. I had decided for this course, I would go against my normal grain and work all digital.  

A painting simply for myself. It was inspired by a dying red maple tree in my front yard. One of the roots hollowed out and looked for all the world like a water chute.
